4.5 Yo this book is soooooo good omg I’m in loveeeeeeeee idk what to say um,,,,, i just love everything about it. Like I said for the first book, there’s a right amount of everything. Although the plot is a lil predictable and common? Ig idk, I don’t mind it. I LOVE IT

Still incredibly well written but so dark and dismal and violent. I very rarely found myself invested enough that I was wanting to listen while cooking or doing housework - it was solely a commute-listen. So I'm not sure I'll listen to the rest. If there was one more book I would, since that would be pushing toward a happy-ish ending, but with 2 more books to go, I'm not sure I want to go through #3 just to finally get to #4. I also really hated the love triangle and the direction it took.
SpoilerI don't mind that Keenan ended up being the Nightbringer - that was clever. But I hate that Laia slept with him while simultaneously having feelings for Elias.
