This book is mediocre, at best.
Would have DNF'd if it wasn't for my buddy read.

uuuu si me gusto jajajaja

it definitely is slow at the beginning, but once i really got into the book i could not put it down! i 100% recommend this if you love greek mythology, but i would also recommend grabbing a tissue or two!

This is technically YA, but I’m an adult reader and very much enjoyed it. There’s a lot of critique of patriarchal culture and I LOVE the idea of teens reading that. I loved the conceptualizations of Greek myths in contemporary nyc and the explorations of power and corruption. If anything I wish it had been written for the adult reader! I’d love a sequel because I really loved the characters but this was definitely written as a one off.
