I’m sad to say that while so many of the booktube family loved this story... I did not. It was an alright story, but I felt like the heroine was quick to allow those closest to her to treat her like shit, and I didn’t buy into the chemistry between the main characters that much.

The story was good but not great in my opinion.

4 Stars ⭐ Estuvo bien divertido! En definitiva amo los enemies to lovers!❤ Ame la primera parte aunque me desinfle un poco con lo del drama de Dane

A light and easy read, perfect for the beach, but nothing to write home about.

The main characters Olive and Ethan who’s enemies to lovers trope we are following are easy to root for and I liked them together. I feel like it was set up well and the vacation part was entertaining to read but after they leave Maui and go back home it doesn’t have the same pull.

3 major things brought the rating down: the weird subplots that didn’t really get fleshed out but were also pretty essential to the story, the amount of times we had to mention Ethan being a “boob man”

Maybe I am too far removed from the dating scene.......but this was not a book that I enjoyed. I found it to be immature and poorly written. There was about a minute of maturity about 3/4 of way through the book that gave me hope for it to finish well, but no.
