I really liked it! Not as much as The Paradise Problem but it was still cute

For a 400 page book it was fast paced enough I finished it in one day. The plot was super cute it was a super easy read, I honestly felt like I was watching a Netflix comedy/romance movie the entire time. Nothing too crazy but a cute story.

Olive is always unlucky: in her career, in love, in…well, everything. Her identical twin sister Ami, on the other hand, is probably the luckiest person in the world. Her meet-cute with her fiancé is something out of a romantic comedy and she’s managed to finance her entire wedding by winning a series of Internet contests. Worst of all, she’s forcing Olive to spend the day with her sworn enemy, Ethan, who just happens to be the best man.
Olive braces herself to get through 24 hours of wedding hell before she can return to her comfortable, unlucky life. But when the entire wedding party gets food poisoning from eating bad shellfish, the only people who aren’t affected are Olive and Ethan. And now there’s an all-expenses-paid honeymoon in Hawaii up for grabs.
Putting their mutual hatred aside for the sake of a free vacation, Olive and Ethan head for paradise, determined to avoid each other at all costs. But when Olive runs into her future boss, the little white lie she tells him is suddenly at risk to become a whole lot bigger. She and Ethan now have to pretend to be loving newlyweds, and her luck seems worse than ever. But the weird thing is that she doesn’t mind playing pretend. In fact, she feels kind of... lucky.

My Thoughts 5/5 stars
If you are looking for a witty and clever love story to get lost in, this is the perfect book for you!
I'll admit, I really am not a big fan of romance novels. But, after hearing the incredible reviews of this book, I had to see what the hype was about.
And after finishing it in less than a day, let me say- this book did not disappoint.
I adored the main characters, Olive and Ethan, and was obsessed with the cute plot line and the intricate details woven into the book. I loved the complexity of not only the two main characters, but the side characters as well and them having their own mini plot lines as well.
The only complaint I had about this book was that I wish it was longer! The ending felt a bit rushed, and I honestly would not have minded if the book was longer.
Romance lover or not, go check out this book right now.
