Siendo sincera me ha costado mucho leer este libro. He confiado en el proceso y he seguido leyendo a pesar de que el principio no me estaba gustando.
En general el libro está bien, tiene una premisa bastante interesante. Hay varios personajes, aunque yo noto que Reíd es el que mejor está escrito, Lou se me hace algo insufrible a ratos y del resto de personajes no tenemos mucha información mas allá de sus nombres, su "cargo" y sus características físicas.
Hay cosas en el libro que creo que están explicadas de forma vaga o regular, como algunas escenas de pelea, en las que no se sigue muy bien el hilo de acción.
En general el libro me ha gustado, pero tampoco tanto como pensaba que lo haría. No sé si seguiré leyendo esta serie sinceramente.

Everything hurts from reading it relentlesly - my neck, my eyes,... Except for my poor reading soul which got its true satisfaction. It feasts on stories like this one.
How can a person write a debut story so good, is beyond me. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING; every character, every word, every pause, matters.
The heroine is so wicked, so funny, I loved her the most.

This book was something unexpected. It was decent as far as books go, but didn’t really level up to some of the others I’ve read this year. It was very “teenage and basic” and yet it was extremely captivating and enjoyable at the same time. This book is a great fall read and I’m excited to continue the series further. The story itself was fun and dynamically paced. There were twists, turns, and delicious descriptions of food. It made you wonder what it would be like if you faced the dilemmas of the witches and the Chassuers. The “love story” was beleivable, but not fleshed out enough for me to be romanticized by it. In the second one I look forward to it developing into something more realistic and romantic. All in all good, but could use more. I want to feel the “out of control feeling of love and affection” that didn’t come with this one. I will also say that I read a lot of my books through Audiobooks and maybe what frustrated me was the people reading the story. You have two young adults in their late teens and twenties who are being read by people well into their 30s. It is distracting and only works for teen dramas you can watch. The female narrator was very good at French and did a good job, but sounds a bit old for a girl of eighteen. The male narrator sounded constipated a lot of the time he was reading tense scenes. That is why I rated it as I did. So if you do read it, maybe physically do so. You might get more “bewitched” by it?

Po kilku tygodniach od przeczytania historia mocno mi się rozmyła, pamiętam, że czytało mi się dobrze, ale raczej nie sięgnę po kolejne tomy.
Mały update -> przeczytam kolejny tom, w pamięci zostało mi wspomnienie funu który miałam, fajnie mi się to czytało i chciałabym się dowiedzieć więcej
