Jack & Annie visit Renaissance Florence and meet Leonardo Da Vinci . . .

I read this with my 7yr old son, he enjoyed it. It has adventure, history (historical fiction) and decent message. I liked DaVinchi's answer for the secret of happiness, such a great message.

This one was pretty good. I would have to say better than some of the last ones I've read. I liked the history parts throughout.
adventurous lighthearted fast-paced

A good installment in the series. Read aloud to the kids to learn more about Leonardo. Some historical details are definitely a bit off, but the idea of his genius and works are there. The book also gives the reader a good basic working knowledge of Florence ca. 1500. All in all, it was fine, especially since we are reading a couple of his biographies alongside it. One of my favorite Magic Tree House books. No bad guys, no scary parts.
