I read this book to my best friend’s daughter and I loved it. It's great that it promotes inclusivity, diversity, and empowerment for girls while challenging stereotypes. Books like that can have a profound impact on young minds.

There is also a boy like you and I think these are great books to use in the classroom to talk about being good humans who are strong and kind .

A beautifully illustrated book that encourages girls to embrace their uniqueness, be brave and bold in their choices and show empathy for others even when they disagree with you. A wonderful reminder that we need to actively teach girls that it's OK not to fit into societal molds, that we should only apologise when we're actually in the wrong and that being kind to yourself is just as important as being kind to others.

3 stars! This was a good read. Young girls everywhere should read this. It teaches them to be themselves and it has a lot of diversity.

This just isn’t as good as Murphy’s first: A Boy Like You. It feels more disjointed. And why is there a section on hair and clothing? There wasn’t in the boy version and it perpetuates the stereotype part of a female’s value is in her appearance.

It's a good advice book for children.
Advice is good. But children loves fun. Stories.
I guess it's just my personal preference of children books.

But, the message is good.
For parents in raising their girl.
