I hated Rowan so much. He doesn’t treat employees as people. Zahra apologies when her family mentions that they can’t afford vacations because of him which made me really dislike her judgement. Him changing was solely for the selfish desire to have Zahra, not for actual growth. Did not like this one.

The perfect lighthearted rom-com in 1 book. While everyone knows how these stories end, Lauren Asher keeps it fresh and modern by putting Zahra in a position of power that she would have had regardless of Rowan’s involvement. Lauren also adequately mentions a lack of diversity among amusement parks for people with disabilities. All in all, this may be a new favourite comfort read.

This is not worth the hype. Rowan is actually just a terrible human being. While that terrible does come from major family trauma he treats people poorly and nothing in this book oils be possible without tons of therapy for him. He does turn it around towards the very end, but Rowan sucks. Zahra is awesome, I read the book for her. The romance isn’t cute it’s manipulative as hell.
This is literally just Disneyland fanfic, so it was a pretty easy read.
Also Armenia is in Europe. Zahra is described as not being white, but also as being the daughter of an Armenian immigrant and someone of European descent. Maybe the author meant Argentinian? But Armenia is Eastern Europe so all of that was confusing as hell.
