This book is sick and it is insane that the school system makes us read books about kids murdering each other that isn’t even well written.

Search for TW!! Read for school. I don't know how to feel about this book. The theme and message are easily understandable. It makes excellent points about society and is very well-written. However, the acts the boys committed are downright repulsive, making me feel horrible.

SPOILER!! Also killing Simon made this book lose a whole star, he was the only good character in my opinion.

I am not sure about this book. I found it quite boring at places as the descriptions of the surroundings seemed endless and quite interesting at others. It sure offers some very serious things to think about human nature, but the lack of information about how long a period of time the described events cover and some things that are unrealistic make it unconvincing. 
I've seen a few reviews that people read this book during their school years; I would never, ever, ever let a child read.
