Surprisingly, more science fiction than fantasy. It was incredibly engaging and I think this is probably my favorite protagonist out of my recent reads. Or at least very close to it. My heart broke for our protagonist when it was revealed that
his girlfriend not only was cheating on him the entire time, but was straight up just using him!
I’m not even a big science fiction person. 9.5/10 (and doesn’t even have a dragon!)

Probably my least favorite Sanderson book I’ve read. It’s clean, but I found it boring. 13+ due to some violence and drug references (a character worked as a bouncer for a drug cartel).
