This was an enjoyable read, though a bit uneven. The many POVs didn't help so much, I think, but the overall idea and conflict was quite interesting. And while I didn't care so much for Rose and Dar, I really adored Sebastian's character, so I might check out the next books in the series if there's more of him.

I actually didn’t expect to like this book as much as I did! I absolutely love the take the author did with bonding a witch and a werewolf together. Loved the fact that blood witches are just something no one should really acknowledge. There were a few typos and grammatical errors but nothing that stopped you from reading the book and making it hard to understand. I would like to have seen more back story with the other characters and possibly more interaction of Rose and Darrius just talking and not necessarily avoiding each other so much. Overall good book and I can’t wait to continue the series!

This has been in my TBR for some time, and when I got this for free in a "stuff your kindle" event, I was anticipating reading it. But I couldn't read past chapter 4. These people act like teenagers, but she's old enough to be engaged, and it seemed she was more than old enough to leave her family's house (from what she said about her grandma), yet she thinks like a teenager high on sugar. Pinkie Pie has nothing on her. Her thoughts are confusing, and the way her dialogues are written was annoying. I just couldn’t continue. I’m not willing to spend time reading 5 books when the heroine is so annoying.
