Surrendered Hearts: 2⭐️
Not a fan. There was way too much sexual tension and very very little communication. Javier expected to order Emilia around without giving her any information and have her just accept things for what he says. Emilia gets props for trying to be strong-willed but she also allowed a lot of foolishness, especially in the epilogue.
In His Custody: 3.5⭐️
An okay read. The plot was interesting but there were quite a few spelling errors and some of the smut made me uncomfy. Hearing a man say “Time to get dirty” would dry up all my sex drive in an instant. Also can we retire the “troubled black kid” trope please? I’d like that very much.
