If you aren’t triggered by this book, it is a phenomenal fictionalization of the tragedies that stole the childhoods of boys in Minnesota in the 80s.

What goes on behind closed doors and other crimes

I don’t usually find “thrillers” or even mysteries all that compelling to read, but this one kept my attention until the bitter end. Which smarmy bad guy is the worst? The scariest part is knowing that this story is based on true events — and that if you know who to befriend the right people, you can get away with just about anything.
