This is just the wacky kind of nonsense I've been missing. Sakamoto was once the deadliest of all assassins but then he fell in love, got married, had a kid, opened a convenience store and got fat. Now his old colleagues have found him and nobody leaves the underworld, so a bounty is placed on his head and all kinds of hit men come to collect, Sakamoto may be older, fatter, and softer but unfortunately for them he's still the best at what he does. This is recommended for fans of action and goofy action at that. You definitely can't take this story too seriously because it doesn't. It just wants to have fun and it exceeds at that. This reminded me a lot of spy x family, which I wasn't the biggest fan of, but that's on me, it wasn't what I expected going in. Whereas with this I had no expectations and was pleasantly surprised. I highly recommend at least giving this a try and I, myself need to give Spy x Family another chance.

No me sentí encantada con este tomo 1, casi me genera un reading slump de las veces que me costaba levantarlo y leerlo. Pero es muy posible que un futuro lea el siguiente tomo para ver qué tal es lo que sigue de la historia

This was a really solid start to the series! I love the premise and the art style fits the tone and characters so well! While the villains aren't that great right now, I'm willing to let that slide since this is only the first few chapters. The action is intense and fun while being fluid and easy to follow. If there was one complaint I have, I'm a little disappointed with Lu's introduction. Yes, I understand she was introduced later on in the volume, but I feel like she never got a chance to really show her stuff. Hopefully she'll get more time to shine in the next volume and in the future.

Anyway, this was a solid first volume that had me hooked from start to finish. Really looking forward to more!
