Noni is reeling when she realizes that she is happy being unhappy and decides she needs to do something. She sets off to Europe for 6 months on a pleasure quest. Along the way she encounters a variety of interesting people and discovers what makes her happy. This made me laugh out loud and I did not want it to end.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for providing an ARC for my honest review

this book hit me SO hard, especially on the second half. i want to be noni blake—someone who learns that she deserves happiness and can go out and find it, someone who learns that she doesn’t have to accept a life of just getting by. this wasn’t always the best written, but it was endearing and moving and inspiring and i loved it.

docking one star because the first part was pretty slow; it took me 9 days to read this short book.

This was one of those books that I saw pop up a lot in the reading community, getting stellar reviews again and again. For this reason, I was a little nervous to pick it up incase it didn’t live up to the hype.

Well, I can forget about that now because this book was fabulous! A really fun character in Noni Blake, who was so REAL. The internal monologue, the flaws, the insecurities. It all made for a very relatable read. I enjoyed the journey to self-love, and I know in myself it is something to always be working on. I’d also enjoy myself a Viking like Beau, but hey- a girl can dream!

From now on, in times of uncertainty or self-doubt, I have a new motto to remind myself to shift focus; WWNBD. What would Noni Blake Do?

Y’all. First of all, I want to point out that I went through a breakup earlier this year. I took a break of pretty much everything (social media, reading,… you name it) and this book was the first one I picked up when I was ready to read again.
And let me tell you : I honestly could not have made a better decision.
If we were not in a pandemic right now, I might as well have had booked a one-way ticket and went on an happy quest myself.

I loved how Noni decided it was okay to be selfish for your own good, and how (almost) every character surrounding her was just so supportive and appreciative of her.

I may be biased (given my situation), but I did enjoy every second of this one. The writing style was just so easy to get through, uplifting and overall so impactful in my opinion.

This is, without a doubt, one of my all time favorite ‘’feel good’’ book.

Oh, and more importantly, if you’re looking for steaminess in a book — you will be PLEASED with some scenes in this one!

If you are ever in a difficult time in your life, breakup or not, this is the book you need. It will truly make you feel strong, deserving, powerful and grateful.
And even if you are not in a difficult time, I think you can find grace and love in this one.

I loved this. It had all the fun of a beach read (the reason I borrowed it) while still being so heartfelt. It's one I picked up expecting a lighthearted read and got wholeheartedly sucked in.

I was almost someone who DNF because the first half of the book was messy and Noni annoyed me. About halfway through, the story really found itself and I enjoyed the remainder.

“It’s Been a Pleasure Noni Blake” flowed in a way that made you appreciate author Claire Christian writing. Noni makes for a believable, down to earth character, but even more of likeable heroin, I found myself laughing out loud at different periods in this book.
