Falling is a gripping and intense thriller that has received well-deserved praise for its flawless execution and gripping storyline. The novel follows the story of a pilot whose family is kidnapped, and he is forced to make a devastating choice: either crash the plane he is flying, killing everyone on board, or watch his family die. The tension and suspense in the narrative are maintained at heightened levels throughout the entire novel, making it difficult to put down.

One of the standout aspects of Falling is its authenticity. The author, T.J. Newman, was a flight attendant for many years, and her firsthand experience shines through in the novel. The character development is top-notch, with even the "bad guys" having well-developed backstories and motivations. The actions and dialogue of the characters under intense pressure feel gritty and realistic, adding to the overall authenticity of the story.

The execution of the novel is almost seamless, and the nuanced characterization provides many heart-in-the-mouth and emotional moments. The story is not just an action thriller but a moving and thought-provoking novel that explores themes of sacrifice, family, and the human condition. "Falling" delivers plenty of surprises, making it challenging to review without revealing spoilers.

Overall, Falling is a superb debut novel that deserves all the praise it has received. It is a thrilling and emotional rollercoaster ride that keeps readers on the edge of their seats. T.J. Newman's talent as a writer is evident in her ability to create a gripping narrative and authentic characters. Falling is a must-read for fans of action-adventure, thrillers, and drama genres.

Un livre qui se lit rapidement. Rien d'inoubliable mais une lecture qui garde le lecteur intéressé du début à la fin.

Definitely don’t read this one if you have any upcoming travel plans. The realistic descriptions made for an action-packed and suspenseful story that was difficult to put down. This was a debut novel written by a former flight attendant that I can’t wait to see transferred to screen.
