sometimes felt a bit stiff. kirk was trying hard to get me to be introspective and my brain was absolutely not cooperating. also she in the beginning was like btw fallen heroes isnt meant to compare them to the brave brave military which was like. Okay. Nobody needed that but Okay.
it was so insane to see how just commonplace death was in motorsports and how, not quite desensitized but. thinking about how in f1 for some crashes the race wouldnt stop versus for bianchis death the race immediately ended. grateful that in some way death has been denormalized by the amt of safety advancements. also, it was good to learn about other motorsports beyond f1. the poem for dave macdonald really hurts my heart. and all who love this racing game must know that fate may call their name.
