This is the hilarious sequel to The Diary Of A Killer Cat. This time Tuffy gives his cat-sitter (the Vicar) the not only a huge dose of attitude he also puts in a comical disappearing act.

Book 2 of the six book series, but this is the fifth that I have read, meaning I have read all of it except the first book, which is an odd way to read a series, but in this case it does not appear to matter too much. Another fun read about the title character and the adventures he has. Good entertainment here.

There's only so many types of reviews you can write for children's books, before you start repeating yourself.
Anne Fine is an extremely talented writer. She was a part of my child-hood as I grew up and I also have enjoyed books she has written for older readers (I say books... I can only remember one...)
Basically, You've got to be a good author when you write little books for children with humour and a plot-line, and also you manage to get shortlisted for the Carnegie Medal. That takes skill.
