Why is the LGBT in everything?
Is that not politically correct to say?
Why is the Black woman always a B Word?
Are there black people who live/vacation in the Hamptons?
Is new money more powerful than old money?
Who is the actual head of the household?
The reference to your Alma Mauter - cool - what about little state! BEHOLD!!!

All good questions to write a book the readers will love.
I enjoyed the book, I hope my questions aren't spoilers.
This book is the making of a sequel. I'm awaiting book 2.

If the Carl or La Jill reads my review I have a request or 2.
Can you use my Name in a book, oops you did, Nevada in Nevada Duncan,
Can you send me some free hard copies of your books and one autographed.

The rich and the game’s they play

Oh, there has to be a part 2!? I didn’t know about the book until my niece was talking about the tv series. I’m not much on tv but I love to read. The drama of the rich and out of touch was crazy! Carolyn deserved every bit of karma coming her way. But I need to know what happens with all those loose ends that were left dangling in the story. And the whole Morgan thing had me rereading sections like whoa! I don’t want to say too much because is easy to drop spoilers, but Mr.Weber knows how to create drama and dysfunction.

In the beginning, I did not think I would like this book because I disliked almost everybody from jump. But the more I got into it, the more I began to get into the characters and pick and choose who I liked. There's definitely enough bad behavior to go around and a good villain or 2 to hate and get their medicine later. I'm into it. Another score for Carl Weber.

Loved this book! I read the book and also listened to the audiobook. The audiobook/voice actors were awesome especially the voice actor for Carolyn Britton! Made me feel like they were talking to me. The pettiness, the drama, the relationships….all so juicy! Looking forward to the next installment!

DID NOT FINISH: 20%

Bored as heck, no likeable characters no meat in the story to sustain me.

Honestly, it was just like reading a BET tv show. I questioned and rolled my eyes at quite a few bits, but I couldn't put it down and was left extremely dissatisfied with the ending.
