I really liked Travis's pov, just nice to 'see' the story from another pov.
And especially the epilogue was a really great BONUS <3
But at times, the story wasn't fluid enough for me and the way Travis falls in love with Abby is a little to fast and easy for my taste. I overall liked Abby's POV better and the way it was written in Beautiful Disaster. But still, it was a Really enjoyable Read!!

Huh...I have absolutely no idea why I read this, especially since the 1st book was such a disaster (pun intended). But as they say, curiosity is a sin, and apparently I suffer from occassional bouts of insanity.
And Travis' head is not a place I'd like to visit again....ever. Apart from being an alcoholic, a chain smoker and a stalker with temper issues and dangerous mood swings, the guy is freakin' crazy.
And don't even get me started on the pussy like behavior wherein he is constantly in tears about everything! I wouldn't even want to waste a rant on such a book...

I didn't believe it was possible, but I actually love Travis far more now than what I did in beautiful disaster! I loved the fact that you got to see Travis interact more with his family, including Shepley. I love all of them more after reading this book, and I can't wait to read it again. Also I was (pleasantly) surprised by the ending. A great book that I recommend to anyone that loves Beautiful Disaster and anyone that loves romance :)
Let me start by saying that I love Travis Maddox, he is my number one Book boyfriend & Beautiful Disaster is one of my favorite books ever.
But this really dragged for me. I did love being in Travis' head. And I knew this was essentially a retelling of the original but with a few extra bits thrown in.
But I feel like it would have been better if this was just a novella of a couple of crucial scenes from Travis POV.
The fact that this is a full length novel at full price seems a little bit much to me.
And again though I love Travis, I didn't feel the emotion that I felt from BD.
This book took me over a week to read but BD took me less than a day. I think that says it all.

Book 1. I really enjoyed but I could not get into this book.
However, I am going to try again as it has been a few years since i read the first book.

I liked it, years later reading the story again and not right after I read the first one, I loved it.
I actually enjoyed reading this book from Trevor's point of view.
And unlike Todd's After series this one is sweeter and less abusive. There are still red flags but I think this relationship is certainly less volatile.
This series was recommended to me after finishing Todd's series.
