loved the epilogue! :)

Still crazy but from his perspective this time.

I don’t understand the point of reading the same book twice but from a different perspective. I enjoyed the first book well enough but I was thoroughly bored with this one. I also find nothing romantic with the temper tantrums- especially from his POV.

I have had this on my TBR for some time because Travis Maddox is one of my all-time favorite book boyfriends. I originally read Beautiful Disaster back in 2015. Even after five years, this quote still stands out for me, “To douchebags!" he said, gesturing to Brad. "And to girls that break your heart," he bowed his head to me. His eyes lost focus. "And to the absolute fucking horror of losing your best friend because you were stupid enough to fall in love with her.” I cannot almost still recite it word for word after thousands of books and all of these years.

However, Even with Travis telling the story through his point of view, I didn't love the story as much as I did the first time. This isn't because of Travis, oh no, this man is a GOD for a reason. No, it is because I found Abby irritating. If I didn't know the story the way that I did, I am not sure I would have fallen in love with this book like I did.

Still, I would highly recommend this story from whichever point of view works best for you.

I have mixed feelings about this book. I didn't think the first book was great but it wasn't that bad. However I liked this male perspective better. It also made clear that for me Abby is very whiny. She is the centre of drama. The way she deals with her father, she makes it into a drama!
So all in all i appreciate this perspective more. But the main story line isn't that great.

The second part of Beautiful Disaster - this is the same story as the first book but told from Travis perspective rather than from Abby so I knew what was coming next. However I still enjoyed it even though it’s about a pretty messed up relationship, and will start the next part soon!
