I loved it from Travis Point of view. so many emotions. it was simply perfect
Travis ‘Mad Dog’ Maddox is cold and distance when it comes to women. In fact when it comes to women, they only serve one purpose. That is until he meets Abby Abernathy, who he affectionately dubs ‘Pigeon’. Travis’ world changes the moment he falls in love with her.
While Beautiful Disaster was told from Abby’s point of view, Walking Disaster gives Travis’ perspective on the events surrounding their relationship. For those who have read both may agree that it is a great reminder that not everyone’s perspective is the same. In Beautiful Disaster, I was frustrated by Travis’ actions, thinking he was so stupid, however, in Walking Disaster, I thought Abby was just a bitch for most of it.
Normally, I would find a guy like Travis borderline abusive, but the way McGuire writes his perspective, you can see that he isn’t like that at all. He just has a wild temper and is protective over anyone he cares for.
I have nothing bad to say about this book. I found myself too enraptured to actually make any notes in my reading journal, making it difficult to write a good review. McGuire has definitely found her true calling. This is the third book of hers I have read and I have had trouble putting down every single one of her books. Her plotlines are not identical; in fact she skipped over some of the events that happened in Beautiful Disaster. Her characters are well formed and tend to have significant development which leaves you feeling quite satisfied.
I would easily pick up any of her books to read and I would reread them again and again.

Reading Travis' POV definitely changed my opinion of him. I still think he needs professional help for his outrageous anger issues, but I understand him a little better.
From this side Abby is actually kind of a bitch and seems intent on hurting him for no reason other than she's just a bitch.
So yeah, I didn't mind Travis in Beautiful Disaster, but now I really like him. I still didn't really get why he flies off the handle so fast. Maybe thats a flaw by the author in his character depth.

I liked this one much better in his perspective then hers and the ending was sooo cute and amazing and i just LOVED it!!!
I like this one a lot better then the first. Honestly I just think it needs more details. Like describe the apartment better, moments better etc
As much as I liked reading the story from Travis' point of view I felt it could have been part of the first book. There wasn't enough new material. Just a regurgitation of everything. The Epilogue was weird and felt like she was trying so hard to close the story. Would have preferred the second book to cover all the time span provided in the epilogue, and what ever happened to Shep and America?? I do love that her website shows she is working on books for the other brothers though so look forward to reading those.
I can't get enough of Travis Maddox. This book was so completely different from Beautiful Disaster, but I loved it none the less. Looking on from Travis' POV was interesting to say the least but I think I might have enjoyed it more. Maybe. Not sure though. They are both beautifully written.
I found myself not liking Pigeon as much but that's only because of my obsession with Travis... I mean who wouldn't want to be with him? I thought she was more standoffish in WD than in BD, but again this was Travis's POV so that was just his take on it. Still tho... She didn't have to be so... Pigeon.
The Epilogue thru me for a loop, but we get closure in their relationship .
