I thought it would be kinda the same as the first book but NO! It's a completely different way to retell the story. I love Travis with all my heart, everybody should read this series, it's the best :·3

Omg! Aaaaaaah! This was soooooo unbelievably amazing I don’t have enough positive words to describe it!! I don’t write reviews often but sometimes I find myself without a choice. This is definitely one of those times. I read Beautiful Disaster despite numerous reviews saying not to. I can tell you write now with 110% assurance that if you like romances and bad boys falling in love or any of Colleen Hoover’s books then you will enjoy this. I fell in love wit Travis and Abby in the first book. Their story may have been brutal at times or even dysfunctional and chaotic it or was real. Life isn’t perfect people aren’t refectory. We screw up in huge terrible unimaginable ways. The best thing is that everyone does it and when you have someone who loves you through the pain you get to fully live and love yourself. Travis and Abby encompass this. I shipped them from day one. And this book from Trav’s perspective was everything I was hoping for and more. His POV was so enlightening and the things he did in the first book that I didn’t understand why I totally get know. I love love loved that we got to see why he called Abby “Pigeon” it was so adorable and made so much sense. It made me love him even more. Then I got to the epilogue fully satisfied not know what I was missing from the story until I finished the epilogue. It was the perfect extra add on and closure I need to let these beloved characters go. They got their happily ever after and still managed to stay in love and 100% Trav and Pidge. If you haven’t read this or beautiful disaster yet you need to immediately!❤️

Have you ever finished a really good book and wanted to immediately read it again? This book allowed me to do exactly that, but through someone else's eyes (not to mention it allowed me to add another book yo my goodreads challenge) This book is very similar to Beautiful Disaster. It had a few new scenes throughout, and I was able to read my favorite scenes through Travis's perspective which was neat, but overall I skimmed though a lot of it because I already knew what happen.
The best thing about this book? The epilogue. I was able to get the ending that I missed in the first book. It tied everything it a beautiful neat little bow with a true feeling of HEA, instead of welp... they are married.. now when is Pigeon going to go bipolar and leave him next (which is exactly how I felt with the ending of the first book). Very satisfied with this second book, and looking forward to reading the books about Travis's brothers!

So I really loved reading from Travis' POV... like a lot. Personally, I just wish that it was all one book. During the middle it kinda got tedious and maybe that was my fault because I reread Beautiful Disaster right before is most parts it was like read the same book twice (technically 3x counting back in one of the 'Ember' months of 2012) but during their time apart oh my sweet baby Jesus Travis broke my heart so many times, I thought I hated Pigeon during that part in the first book because she didn't tell him her feelings but damn reading Travis' and reliving it all I can say is holy emotional roller coaster. and the Epilogue was good, I'm happy with it but I just feel like I wanted something different, maybe because the time frame went to far out? I don't know. but Even after the middle and the epilogue I am rating this a 4.5-5 stars because I love Travis everything about him but most importantly Jamie's writing is exquisite and made me feel and invest so much. I recommend this book to everyone that has read Walking Disaster. I'm excited for Trent's story but I want more Travis and Pigeon!!!!

I liked this book as well but I think I might just like the first one a little bit more. But I do not regret reading this. Love the storyline and getting to know Mad Maddox more.

They have a love hate relationship and it drags you down whit them, in a good way.
I felt like I could relate to the characters and that I really got to know them and followed there development in the story.
It it in my opinion well written and a very good read and I will probably read it again.
