The four Clans of cats have lived peacefully until as of late. The ThunderClan is struggling against the ShadowClan and have finally lost a battle in their own territory. Fewer and fewer kits have been born and their warriors are dwindling. A house cat by the name of Rusty shows up willing to join their ranks. Rebranded as Firepaw, he may be exactly what ThunderClan needs to regain their strength against the ShadowClan.

If you're a fan of the Warrior Cats series, this is an essential read. This combines the first two books of the series into a beautifully illustrated graphic novel. It's very expressive and easy to follow along. The themes of bravery and sacrifice are powerful and Warriors doesn't pull any punches with the violence.

I have read Into the Wild and Fire and Ice many times before, but to be honest, I think this graphic novel did the job even better than the original books. I loved it having Princess in it from the beginning, loved how it handled important scenes, it's so amazing. I did miss some scenes that were left out, like the scene where Riverclan attacks Fireheart & Greyheart when they are crossing their territory during their return (though, as a person who draws, I know it would be hard to draw so I definitely get why it might've been left out, haha). Some parts might've been a bit too fast-paced, but not so much that it would be hard to read/understand what's happening.
The art style is awesome, cute and really fits the story. Designs are very realistic, yet still have that Warriors magic in them. Really liked this!

hard not to love this! It's more than just the first book of the first series which was a little weird (very fast paced lol) and because of that, it leaves a couple scenes out in order to help the pace. but still really good and opens up the main series to another type of audience. Also like it was hard to get with this art style at first only because I adored the original comic style when they came out with the graphic novels but I'll get used to it. I don't mind it for fireheart too much but holy COW they un-dilfed greystripe ;-;

Awesome! The art style is gorgeous and it's a delightful adaptation. Only thing I feel sad was omitted was the riverclan border skirmish from fire and ice but they can't keep everything!
