Friend Zone by Nicole Blanchard
Taking a brief break from fantasy to diversify.
Very brief. Let's look into some contemporary romance.
This is my first book by this author. Looking forward to the experience.

Friend Zone was... Extremely generic for me. It was, I don't want to say boring, but I fell asleep... twice!

Friend Zone by Nicole Blanchard is about two best friends in Florida, young college students who are forced to live with each other after the FMC has a bad breakup and the ex-boyfriend floods her apartment. She comes from a rough family background and basically the MMC's family takes her in. The MMC is from this family where his dad wants him to take over the family business. However, he wants to go to college and do something completely different. The main characters then share a kiss and all of a sudden it's Oh my God, I've never noticed you before but now I'm in love with you. There is some complex family background she reunites with a long lost family member. He loses a family member and they live happily ever after. I am going to postpone reading the second book in this series and maybe come back.

Peace, love and

Nothing beats best friends to lovers tropes!
Charlie's mother left when she was young and her father died of cancer not long after.
At 22 she's finishing college and her internship in nursing. Her best friend Liam is like family he's also finishing college and applying for Veterinarian schools across the country.
Charlie thinks her boyfriend Andrew is going to propose but she's about to break up with him.

I just loved all the characters especially Liam's family and grandmother who's suffering from dementia. This story is the best, I really enjoyed it. A must read.

Liam and Charolette (Charlie) are friends who ultimately become more as this story moves forward. Early on we see Liam think very little of Charlie’s
latest boyfriend. Liam goes from friends Charlie’s roommate due to an event following the breakup he feels responsible, through he not the culprit. This story is complex when it comes to the conflict Liam and Charlie face. This friends to roommates to lovers
is a must read especially if your interested in trying a new author you’ve never read.

I really enjoyed Charlie and Liam's story. They've been friends for years, so that history is there, the connection is already deep. Charlie is strong, she's determined to fulfil her dreams, and I loved the heart she has. Liam is a guy that you'd love to have around. He's going after what he wants as well. These two have a real pull to each other, and I enjoyed how that flowed through their story. There's sweet, heat, heart squeezing moments, and more that was able to keep me involved. I love the friends around them, the closeness that they all have and am looking forward to what is to come!

What a delightful friends-to-lovers romance. Liam and Charlie have been best friends since they were children. Liam's family took care of Charlie after she lost her parents. They are so close in almost every way. They didn't see how much they were meant for each other, until they share an impulsive, hot kiss. Now Liam will do whatever it takes to convince Charlie to take a chance on them. They are both at a huge crossroads in their lives. They need each other more than ever with big changes happening both personally and professionally. Their story is a rollercoaster that brings fun, heartache, hard choices and love. I really cared for both Charlie and Liam. They were both kind, thoughtful and hard working. They had fun together, supported each other, and had explosive chemistry. I was a bit frustrated when they had a hard time communicating, despite being so close, but I still found myself cheering for their HEA. I really enjoyed this emotional, sweet & sexy romance. I hope to see more of Liam and Charlie along with their intriguing group of friends.

I really enjoyed Allie Martina, and Gideon Frost's narration. They balanced each characters strengths and vulnerabilities beautifully. They easily made me feel all the heartbreak, struggle, hope and joy that both Charlie and Liam felt. This is my first listen to Martina and Frost, and I definitely look forward to listening to them again. I really enjoyed this emotional, sweet & sexy romance.

Friend Zone
Friend Zone Series, Book 1
By: Nicole Blanchard
Narrated by: Allie Martina, Gideon Frost

Friends to lovers. I love this trope for the sheer reason that it's so easy to understand! After all, Charlie and Liam have been best friends for years! Nicole Blanchard tells their story as Charlie and Liam realize what they truly have. But how does it all happen? It all starts with one kiss. Now Liam is determined to win over Charlie's heart but will it be easy? Both are at different stages in the education and Charlie is not good with commitments. But her feelings for Liam are so strong! Is this the time she is ready? Blanchard takes us on a whirlwind of feelings, as these two navigate their new found relationship, their family drama and the art of communication! I found myself in love with this couple, rooting for their happy ending and wanting to push them along with their thoughts and plans! It just shows the investment that Blanchard got out of me as I was cheering for these two! Loved their journey.

Allie Martina and Gideon Frost tell the story with a fabulous narration. Martina is the emotional Charlie, as she comes out of her current relationship and finds true feelings. Each nuance lets her feelings out and made for a realistic character. Frost is a favorite, his smooth romantic voice coming through as Liam. I was captivated from the start. These two gave a fantastic performance.
