Liam and Charlie were best friends, best friends that never crossed the line.
Liam didn’t do commitment, never having been in love or wanted to.
Charlie always ran when things got too serious, thinking that they would only end up leaving her like everyone else did.
Charlie and Liam both had feelings for each other but never acted on them, because Charlie was sure she’d been friend zoned, and she knew Liam didn’t do relationships.
But one night, one kiss changes everything, Charlie’s apartment is ruined, and she moves in with Liam. Can they keep their feelings hidden while being so close to each other.

I have been looking forward to this book coming out. Let me tell you, it didn't disappoint. Liam and Charlie were the perfect couple. Yeah they had their ups and downs but who doesn't. They have been the best of friends for years and have gone through so much together. So much in fact that Liam's family is like a second family to Charlie. The number one down fall I read between the two of them was their communication skills. They just weren't able to tell each other the important things right away, which brought on so much of their downfalls. Luckily they were able to over come their issues and find their HEA. I love how this book was a standalone but that it hinted at more to come. I'm looking forward to continuing with this series and getting to really know the rest of the characters that we met in Friend Zone, along with catching up with Liam and Charlie. *I voluntarily read an advanced copy for my honest and unbiased review.*
I really enjoyed this story! It was a fun read with good characters. It flowed well and I liked the progression from friend to more. Liam and Charlie have been best friends since they were little. Liam's family is pretty much Charlie's family. They have never really see each other as anything more than that until Liam reacts differently to the possible proposal from Charlie's almost ex. He then kisses her and it changes everything for the both of them. Neither are sure what to do or how to handle it so they decide to play it off some and go back to being friends. Only it's not that easy. The sex is explicit and blended into the story. It fits the characters and what's going on around them. I really enjoyed this story.

Friend Zone is what I wish was happening in my life...
First find a friend like Liam ✔
Liam and Charlie have been friends a really long time, when things get a different turn, is it for the best? They both fight the inevitable and as a result it turns out they were best situated for each other.
I love this style of Book, but this author made it really believable how great friends they were, and I absolutely ADORED this ending.
If I could give it more stars I would.

I'm usually not a huge fan of the friends to lovers trope, but this was done reasonably well. The main characters are likeable and have friends and family relationships as well as flaws that helped them have an identity outside of their friendship/romantic relationship. They each also had their separate careers that were demanding and had to manage their relationship while balancing out their career plans for the future. We got to know the characters really well despite the fast pace of the book because of these details and it made for a better love story. Easy to read through and makes you look forward to other books focusing on the side characters.
