This was a charming story. The hero and heroine were likable and believable. The romance was sweet with a steamy scene. And the HEA was cute. Quick but satisfying read.

This was my first short-story, and I really enjoyed all the tropes rolled into this one story - small town, holiday romance with an age gap. Plus there were LOTS of steamy moments that made this a definite pageturner for me.
Who knew a bet to say "yes" to everything could turn one woman's world upside down so quickly. The main characters Lauren and Cody were both instantly likeable, and despite this being a short-story, there was still lots of character definition built into the story.
I also appreciated the extra chapter that was offered afterwards that gave a glimpse at their potential happily ever after. I will definitely need to check out the other books in thr Christmas Cookie Challenge series.
