I enjoyed the format of this book (letters, emails, texts, and a novel), but realise it's probably not for everyone. I was gearing up to hate the ending but I'm a little annoyed that actually, I can't hate it. It was quite good. It made sense.

Did I cry at this book? Only the dog that was in the room with me knows, and Riley is a good girl who won't tell on me.

(Yes, I cried, it was very cathartic)

Downside is it was pretty obviously written by an American despite being set in the UK; at one point Josie eats pizza pockets and dyes her hair with Kool-Aid. Neither Pizza Pockets or Kool-Aid are a thing in the UK (or if they are, I have never seen them) so I did have to suspend my disbelief a little bit, but otherwise enjoyable!

I'd recommend it, I think. It's not the height of literature, but it was an enjoyable read all the same.
