Wow, this book was intense! I would hesitate to call it a romance honestly, more like a thriller with a strong romantic subplot. I loved Rosalind and her unwavering strength, she was a great heroine.

This was really fun. I appreciated that Rosalind got some perspective on her relationship with her husband while she was in the future; it's nice not to see jealousy romanticized. A gothic, time-slip romance.

I really enjoyed A Stitch in Time and immediately picked this book up to follow. I enjoyed picking up where we left off and delving into a minor character from book 1 and getting the details of her time travel/ghost-y story.

still love this book but the only thing that gets me is how Rosalind could avoid all of the things she goes through to get back to her family by STOPPING TO TALK TO THORNE AND BRONWYN. that is all.
