A cute read! Their chemistry may be fire and ice but when things explode, they really explode! Fighting turns to passion that overtakes them in glorious ways. But their story doesn't end there.

His nickname may be "Easy Rhoades" but things between Jordan and Amelia (Lia) are anything but easy. He tormented her during their teens before leaving town. A decade later he's back and they find themselves needing each other. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

The Boy Next Door (All American Boy) by Sierra Hill – This was a freebie series starter. It’s the same world with different writers spotlighting their own couple. The enemies/next door neighbors/childhood crush thing really works in this one! Happy Reading!

Wow! This was a fantastic story! I loved Jordan and Amelia! They were so freaking hot...like right from the beginning the sparks were insane and I was just waiting to see them explode! I was getting super mad at Jordan there for a bit... and let's just say that I thought he was about to do something REALLY stupid and I was starting to get super mad.... but it turned out ok... Very captivating story of these frenemies to lovers, who end up working together and have moms that are BFF's... that would make things awkward all around. I could not put it down and was enjoying every single second of their story!

This book is a beautifully written story of reuniting with the one from next door!
This is a standalone story so you do not have to read anything else to understand. I loved this story and will definitely be looking at others from the all American boy series.
You’ll laugh and you may cry it this story is beautiful and entertaining and has everything Sierra Hills other books have too :)

The Boy Next Door was one of those stories where I can honestly say it’s me, not the book. It had the potential to be a story that hooked me, one with plenty of enjoyable moments, but it contains something that I’m not a fan of. At all.

You see, I’m so done with the stories where the guy is cruel to the girl throughout their younger years because he ‘secretly loves’ her. The idea that you’ll treat someone you love that way – and the fact there are so many stories out there that suggest it is okay – is something I’m tired of seeing. I’m fine with enemies to lovers, I’m fine with crushing from afar, and I’m fine with dark romance – none of those things are a problem for me. I’m just done with stories where a declaration of love makes up for years of belittling someone and doing lasting harm to their self-worth. In my mind, that sends the wrong message. Obviously, though, the fact there are so many books like this show I’m in the minority.

All in all, I’m sure many will love this, but the fact it contained one of my pet peeves meant I was not sucked into it the way I could have been. There were enough enjoyable moments to ensure I was happy to devour in it a single sitting, but there was not enough to overcome the aforementioned element.
