I can't find enough words to explain my hate for this book, and it's not only because of the characters that I hate every single one of but also the way it's written as if it's a fancy Wattpad story where everyone is white because their personalities are very white, and there's literally no plot. I hate it so much. It's one of those times that I regret buying the whole series before reading the first book.

Just okay for me, between Mary Sue energy of Clary, the lamest love triangle since Twilight and pacing that was super fast I just couldn't connect with them emotionally because there is always next thing they need to do.

The writing was sometimes over simplistic, but the longer it went on, the more substance the characters got (at the beginning they seemed very 2D - witty, strong teenagers, but there is more to them than that) and the story is utterly addictive. I would have marked it 5 stars, but as much as I couldn't put it down, I equally couldn't describe myself as blown away.

Absolutely recommend for YA fans.

I didn't like this book! I felt it struggled to create realistic characters, and the plotline seemed to jump for twists merely to shock the reader. However, many other people love these books, and this is just my personal opinion.

Me ha encantado pero a la vez no entiendo nada ,me gusta mucho todo el mundo y sobre todo los plotwis ósea que lokurote todo ,es un libro muyyyy bueno .Casi me da un infarto cuando Jace se ha vuelto medio Loko ,Y NO PUEDO HACEPTAR QUE SEAN HERMANOS ,NI DE PUTA COÑA ESO ES VERDAD , A MI NO ME ENGAÑAS

I really tried to like this book. I just couldn't. The writing was not that good, and don't even get me started on the similes! The story itself was ok, but I don't think I'll be continuing this series. 2 stars from me, I've read better things.

even though this is a reread reading the plot twist at the end had me gasping
