Not bad, build up was good between characters, then it fizzled out a bit and the ending was just okay.

holy hot man cover.

Seek was one of those random books I took a chance on. It didn't hurt that it was on my audible romance package, which I love by the way. In it, you will meet Olivia and Thomas. At first, they kind of had a forbidden kind of romance. Olivia is engaged to her fiancé that has gone missing... to Columbia. So, this is her little love adventure because she wants to know why the hell he's there and why the hell she's so god damn attracted to Thomas.

Low-key, I loved - absolutely loved- Thomas and Olivia. After meeting her, he was instantly protective of her. Yeah, he could blame it on being her guide or whatever.. but we all know that he had a thing for her. It's safe to say that once Olivia set eyes on him - she was a goner. Throughout their little journey I just kept tapping my fingers waiting patiently for them to hook up. Once they did - it damn magical guys!

Now as for her fiancé, ex-fiancé, he was a douche. Straight up douche bag. He was cheating on her for like their entire relationship and was with a girl that looked very much like Olivia herself. She soon found out that she's her sister - but still it gave me the creeps guys. He should've died in the tsunami.

Overall, I really enjoyed this audio. So much happened that kept me constantly guessing or kept me on my toes. I will definitely be looking out for another book by Mia.

Mia Sheridan has been on my read list ever since I read her first book. I couldn't wait to get my grabby hands on Seek. But if you're expecting the angst and all the feels like her other books, you may be a little bit disappointed with this one.

Don't get me wrong, the story itself was good, and Mia threw in a bunch of action, it was just different. Olivia and Thomas had chemistry that oozed off the pages. I just hoped for more.

Seek is action-packed, sexy, and very different than anything I've previously read from this author. Mia can still write the hell out of a book.

I could not put this book down! I would have read it straight through the night if I hadn’t needed to sleep. But Olivia and Thomas’s story was truly beautiful and had me eagerly turning each page ❤️

"She was sunshine. Warm and bright, too sweet for this cruel, dirty world. Too good."

What a beautiful contemporary romance by the amazing Mia Sheridan. This author is one of my favorites and I would read anything she writes. So when out of nowhere she announced Seek would release soon, I couldn't wait to get my hands on the book. This book is about Olivia (Livvy) and Thomas. Livvy hires Thomas to get her to a seaside town in Colombia. She needs him to get her safely there. I loved that the book was mainly set in Colombia, I haven't read many books set in South-America so it was refreshing.

"You dream like I do. Only... you're more selfless than I am, Thomas. You dream for others."

Thomas is very closed off and is focused on the job. Livvy is just a sweetheart and that was obvious right off the bat. The prologue showed a piece of Thomas' past, and that scene broke my heart. It gives the reader an insight into why Thomas is the way he is. Throughout their trip in Colombia these two become closer and an attraction grows. I loved seeing their attraction develop, and the dual POV really helped me getting to know both of them better. Even though they seem the opposite, there are things they can both relate to. There were a couple of plot twists, of which I predicted some. My heart broke for Livvy when the truth was out in the open.

"The dim yellow glow bathed Livvy in shadows and pale yellow light, made her look ethereal, a goddess with flowing hair and alabaster skin. Even the moon loved her. How could it not?"

The author did such an incredible job in telling the story and the characters were great. I loved them both so much, and seeing them coming together was just beautiful. They both deserved to be happy after everything they went through. Their love making was so passionate and emotional, I just felt and believed everything. Seek exceeded my expectations and I didn't want this book to end. I wish there was an extra chapter or two focusing on the future, because the epilogue wasn't enough for me. I would love a novella focusing on Livvy and Thomas OR another stand-alone focusing on Thomas' friend Josh. I highly recommend this book: It was emotional, romantic, suspenseful, heartwarming and more. Readers who have enjoyed previous books by Mia will love this one as well.
