This was a book I finished and already thought about doing a re-read. Everything about this book HITS. Wang did an amazing job with the setting, history and lore. This book has some of the best character development that I have read recently. And to add onto it, the action scenes are incredible. I could picture every action scene perfectly.

The moments of grieving felt real. I felt as though Misaki was extremely relatable through all of her pain. Then when we get Tekeru's pov it makes even more sense why he would act the way he does. Wang really put herself in the characters shoes and wrote a masterpiece in character development.

The only knock that I have against this is that the final chapter is a bit too long. It seems like Robin is defintly alluding to Misaki killing Daniels wife. I would of like a definitive answer though. Misaki needed some closure with Robin but I felt like they kind of overstayed their welcome here.

Overall, I will be recommending this book to everyone that I know. Fantastic book and lived up to the hype in every way.
