First off, a fantastic witchy / folkloric, gothic, ever twisting unique storyline.
However, I do have a few gripes with it.
The first 50-100 pages were difficult to get through. The only thing that kept me reading was the plot.

The town is called F-. Wtf is that as a name? One of the main characters is an annoying influencer always posting and using hashtags, not to mention both the main characters become adults throughout the book yet still act like complete brats throughout. Especially Cathy, who is completely deranged and rude throughout almost the entirety and expects sympathy.

The loneliness is palpable for these characters. I liked that our main character is unlikable, but not necessarily guilty. She was complex and not morally reprehensible. Because you’re viewing this through some childhood memories. You’re initially unsure of if there is supernatural stuff at play. The two childhood friends are not evil. They are responding to their environment.
