I enjoyed finding more out about Matteo's relationship and the happily-ever-after/beginning of an adult relationship, post divorce nonetheless. Many of the stories made are romance novels about first love, and somewhat flat, but the characters' lives add texture to the story. The mystery was so-so for me. It just seemed a little too over the top with a high body count, even though I don't expect "realistic" in this type of cozy mystery.

This was cute. I've been enjoying this series and this one was no exception. I'll for sure keep reading. I was glad to get less of Joy in this one because she mostly annoys me. And it was nice to see Breanne to be a little more human.

light & fluffy, a coffee-mystery instead of a cooking mystery. Plus NYC, especially Greenwich Village so I liked that. It's somewhere in the middle of a series but I didn't have any trouble following the characters, although the family dynamic is a little odd. Nice.

Another great coffeehouse cozy. I wasnt able to figure this one out- not many clues and so much going on in this book. I did enjoy learning the backstory of Brianne and to see the relationships evolve throughout the book. Looking forward to the next one

Matt and Brie are on the verge of getting married. However, before they can say I do, Claire must find who is trying to kill the blushing bride.

I am slowly starting to like these characters again. I enjoyed the mystery in this book, but I was disappointed to see Coyle go back to her old tricks. The book starts off with a murder the victim being mistaken for another person. Coyle does this often in her books, I am not a fan. But the killer's true identity are becoming harder to guess. So while I love being right, I am enjoying the surprises.

My favorite characters continue to be the police officers and detectives in Claire’s life as well as her ex mother-in-law. I still find Claire to be mostly annoying, but I am starting to warm up to her . . . it just took six books.

I give this book a B.
