Again, I think some of the sex scenes could be faded out or cut out and replaced with more soul-intimate scenes, if that makes sense. Some of the occurances just don't make sense holistically and I don't see Hades or Persephone going that route either. Like they just teleport from a horrid fight scene and then suddenly coitus 🤨😑  I skipped the Hades series as of this review, so it was my first encounter with the different povs and from characters other than Persephone and Hades. I enjoyed that. I think it was also a good way to transition out of this series to the next one!! I love the ending- it was sweet. I am excited to read more on Aphrodite and Hephaestus, and Dionysus and Ariadne.

This book was everything and more I had hoped for the conclusion of the Hades x Persephone series. Scarlett is an amazing storyteller and draws you into the lives of her characters as if you are right there beside them. Her use of traditional Greek mythological characters is enhanced by her ability to pull them into a modern day era that makes them even more relatable.

i have loved this series for years, and while i am so sad this is the last book, i loved it and i’m grateful that i didn’t have a broken heart after reading it! i adore hades and persephone’s love story with my whole heart.

Ending a series is always a monumental task and I thought this ended wonderfully. Stakes and consequences were high, but it was also balanced with the same spicy romance and humor readers of the series have come to expect. Great job SSC!

ugh this series was great until i found the bonus chapter 🤦🏻‍♀️ i’m tired of the persephone X hades novels being great until the end. why can’t they just leave the ending alone?
