I remember being so excited to read this. The way people spoke about this, you would think it was the Second Coming! I always temper my expectations when a book is "universally loved" but this?

Murderbot was annoying. Genuinely. I could not like this character. There is little beyond them but "I don't want to be here". This was the main point people seemed to love, but it felt very one-note.

The 'twist' at the end was likewise not very ... fun.
