Predictable but I'd still give it a solid 3 for keeping my interest. As another reviewer mentioned many of the relationships in this story made no sense if you think about it, and they weren't very likable either. But it was a quick read :)

I really wanted to like this book. But no. In keeping up with everyone here who didn't spoil it when I searched at the beginning, I will also curse you to having to finish the book. Great writing, don't get me wrong, just could not deal with the plot or the characters. I feel sorry for this author that I'm leaving a review that leans towards nasty, but I just can't.

Wow

Captivating read! Mildly frustrating at the end. Kept me interested the entire time. I think I finished this in a day!

2.5.

The main character was a tad too whiny to feel much sympathy for. Really, they were mostly all whiny, bad people. And there were at least a couple holes in the plot.

Didn't connect with any of the characters, and especially hated the self-righteous main character. I really couldn't get into it at all and as the reveals occurred it didn't make me more interested it just made me more eager to reach the end.

This book was not just not for me. It was at least 100 pages too long, the characters were not interesting and if I had to read about the garden or quad one more time I think I would’ve lost my mind.

Mostly predictable…

80% of this book is a 3 or maybe even a 3.5. But the ending. It's terrible. McGowan just quit writing. Skip it!

Loveable characters: No
Flaws of characters a main focus: Yes

Mixed views on this one - the plot covers sensitive topics (SA, cheating, violence) and I felt these topics were handled with care.

There's a closed circle of suspects and the book gives unreliable narrator vibes. Mostly from one POV but there will be a few sections with some other characters POVs
