This isn't a bad book. But it's the definition of a 3 star. Absolutely forgettable.

There's a lot going on in here, and while it's beyond intriguing at first, you just kind of...mosey along with the plot, rather than running to keep up with it.

Ali is a super pompous successful housewife/"journalist"/charity chairperson. She's married to a super rich lawyer, mom to 2 really spoiled kids, blah blah blah. She invites her group of college friends over to celebrate 25 years since uni ended.

Best friend gets sexually assaulted in the garden and points the finger at the husband.

Who to believe?

Such a great premise, right?

Really a let down of a book from an author I've genuinely enjoyed in the past. Ah, well.

This one was a quick read. Entertaining, somewhat predictable. The characters weren’t very likable.
