What I’m left with after this series is all the amazing characters throughout the story. The good, the bad and those more in the grey areas—they’re all great! Lin and Greed was awesome together at the end. May was the sprinkle we needed throughout the darkness, and super badass

the whole series: 4,25 ⭐️

Interesting fast-paced plot and great characters. I especially loved Olivier Armstrong, Roy Mustang and Riza Hawkeye.

The story kind of lost me at the end, the action of the last battle dragged on too long for my taste.

I had seen the anime (brotherhood version) before and it was nice to see that the anime follows the manga very well, except at the very beginnig.

Hated the ableist tropes like
the miracle curing of disabled people.

It's hard to wrap my head around the fact that this is the end of Full Metal Alchemist. After twenty plus volumes, it felt like it was going to last so much longer. But all wars much draw to a close, and the Elric brothers' quest eventually had to end. But even though the series has ended, the possibilities for all the characters involved seem endless, and we are left with a story that will continue to draw in readers and linger in their minds long after this final book.

this last volume took me 2x longer to finish compared to the other volumes, simply because I had an excessive amount of tears in my eyes the entire time. happy tears of course, bittersweet tears...

this series has watched me grow up, finally reading the manga has been such an unreal experience. I truly believe everyone should consume this series once in their life. oh, how I love humanity.
