When I saw the cover of this graphic novel I was already in love! The artwork is phenomenal! The storyline isn't anything wild I'd say, but I was still interested to see how it would end. Had a great time reading this.

I loved this story. It's so non-traditional and wonderful and well-paced, and the art is gorgeous and contributes to the story perfectly. I loved the palette.
The lettering sometimes stumbled weirdly, leaving orphan letters or sometimes weird spaces between letters and bubbles, but I liked that it wasn't the traditional graphic novel font. I also wish Doodle and her story were explored more. There's so much to unpack with her story and it is simply not something this book deals with; its focus is on Freddy, and Freddy isn't paying attention — but as a reader, such a bombshell limps without more explanation. The ending in general felt a little rushed, though the rest was perfectly paced.
