i love the shitty boyfriend, passive girlfriend trope reinvented as a lesbian relationship.
something i think people are scared of it to show gay relationships as toxic since it gives more reason for people to be against them and adds to the homophobic rhetoric but without it gay people get stuck in these shit situations and don’t realise they can get out of them. it’s ok, there are other gay fish in the sea.
however, this was kind of boring since it’s a storyline that has been done before.

It was really pretty and I'm a big fan of the colours. However, I feel like, and this is an entirely subjective opinion, maybe you relate to the characters and this is a great book for you or, like me, you don't and you find them kind of annoying and the book boring in its predictability. Still, it was nice to see a lot of diversity and to not have the story be about that at all.

Characters Freddy (Frederica), my name too was intriguing as she maneuvered through being and finding her self-worth. I loved this book of self discovery. Knowing you are worthy and finally taking the reigns and making that shitty gf see she is what she is. Laura Dean has a level of arrogance that some teenaged boys and girls have, that same misconception of mistakenly thinking you are worth more than than the young man or woman that has fallen for you. Being able to realize who you are, is an amazing thing for any person, young or old. Doodle, Vi and all the other character are great as well. This GN about a serious matter; however, did make me laugh out loud.
