“She is one of those cut-down goddesses who has become demented by life.” This is living. It’s not singular and there is no script or one way to be. It is wild and it is “encouraging to stare out at the sky and know that everything is always changing, that a dark sky lifts into another mood.” Humans are complex and flawed, and eventually, through it all, we will have to learn to be content with always desiring to feel satisfied and owning and belonging to something permanently when we belong to movement, phases, parts. There is flow. It is not rhythmic and it does not have steps. It is free form. Free to be formed in changing ways without being measured by an extrinsic invisible watcher who we give agency to choreograph our day, our years, our lives. We are the dancer and the choreographer. They mesh and crash and burn. And it is beautiful as it is real.
