Damn that was good.

Actually so good, like the plot was so much better than I expected. I loved the dramaaaaaa.

So much emotional turmoil but so funny in unexpected ways. And not just the purposeful humour the author has included (I love the shivs). The similes were hilarious. A lot were also beautiful but there were some absolutely unhinged similes being used that honestly took this book from being a 4 to 4.5. Their only issue was it would be a completely serious and dark scene but the simile would be so so funny.

It was super tropey in the best possible way. I’m going to start reading the second book immediately :)

Omg YESSS this is my absolute favourite type of rejected mate story, when the mate/s end up rejecting her in some way then have to grovel to het her back.
This book is really well written and kept me hanging on every word.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ .5 Loved, would recommend to everyone, only a small issue

This gripped me from start to finish, I read it in one sitting and I have absolutely no shame about it. My favourite omega thus far and there was minimal spice so that is saying a lot. The enemies to lovers element were so strong which created the perfect amount of angst and allowed the characters to grow and deal with their issues by the end. BUT THAT ENDING!!! I am so ready for the next book I will be picking it up super soon.

Tropes: slow burn, omega verse, enemies to lovers
Triggers: kidnapping, mate rejection, bullying, abuse, self harm
