A great book for curling up with a mug of hot cacao and pretending you're an Icelandic settler surrounded by volcanoes, waterfalls, and hidden folk everywhere you go. Also a great exercise in comparative folklore, as one becomes thrilled each time they find a parallel theme from their own hometown, be it in the Philippines, America, Germany, South Korea, or Indonesia.
