I love love LOVED this story! A companion to The Saturday Morning Park Run, I have my hopes up for many more of these books!!!! The characters are so incredibly easy to live. They are such a diverse cast, and they all come from such varied backgrounds and places, it’s so great to see them come together and blend as though they have always been part of each other’s lives!

Discovering each of their reasons for swimming is so great, and really made me stop and think that we never truly know anyone’s motivations for participating in the activities they do unless they inform us! We don’t know the challenges they are facing.

I found myself falling into the characters lives and the hurdles/challenges/wins from the first page. I had a really hard time putting it down and loved the representation displayed by the author: a teenager who lost half his leg, a lesbian couple, accidental trauma in the case of a couple of characters (miscarriage and death during a rescue mission.)

If you love Jules Wake you will love this story and if you loved TheSaturday Morning Park Run you will also love it! If you have any interest I suggest you add it to your want to read list, and even preorder if you can!!!!

Thank you to One More Chapter, Jules Wake, and Netgalley for a gifted copy in exchange for an honest review!
