This excites me. I could take my ordinary life surroundings and happenings and dress them up into fantastic tales.

This story is about a boy who let's his elaborate imagination get away from him on his walk to school. The funny story get more and more crazy and less and less believable! The story can be used to help focus students on sticking to the facts as an introduction to informational texts, as well as having students focusing only on the details of texts.

I remember this being one of my favorite Dr. Seuss books as a child.

I liked the ending and I think this would be a cute story to read a child at bedtime, and I like the little message it has, but it's lacking in value for an adult reader. After the amazing movies based on his books, I expect more.

I think this book is a great way in which children can let their imagination run wild.
