Crime / Thriller / Fiction / Mystery / Suspense  

I picked this book as my free Amazon First Reads book (not sure what month). 
It was a wild ride. I hated everyone!! 
I was 12 pages in when I made my 1st note "WTF?!" It only got crazier from there!! 
At 30% I wouldn't have cared if they all died, in fact, I think they all deserved to.
60% OMG!!!!
95% Yeah okay...... Good, it's over  
Part of why it is 3 stars for me is I couldn't believe these people willingly hung out together no less went on a hike, I don't care that they were related, they hated each other. But it is 3 stars also because I know I will still be thinking about this book next week, possibly next month, or even next year!! 

After the acknowledgement section I am more than a little worried about this author, she said the quiet part out loud in writing!! You are a crime writer you know better LOL

I got this as a Kindle first read and completely forgot about it until I saw it being recommended. A twisting story set over 48hrs that asks who can you trust when love and money are at stake

Four travelers are planning on a nice hike in the Alps. Cat, her husband (Paul), her sister (Ginny), and her sister’s husband (Tristan). However, the trip is much more arguing and issues than expected. 

The story is told in third person, but we get a bit of perspective from all four travelers. 

There isn’t really a big twist in the story, just kind of small ones. Nothing shocking though.


Overall, it is on the shorter side and I got through it quickly. It held my attention well but it was fairly average for me.
