Oscar Wilde's descriptions are so vivid and beautiful to read, and on top of this, watching Dorian evolve is as fascinating as it is frightening. Really good book, took me forever to read cause I kept getting side-tracked though woops.

Fajny obraz dekadenckiego młodzieńca. Ta powiesc przybrała inny tor niż myślałam. Lubie jak postacie wpadają w obsesję i doprowadzają sami siebie do szału tak jak tutaj. Nie spodziewałam się śmierci Basila.
I’m not usually a classics girly but I read this as part of a summer reading series. I really enjoyed the writing style and how the message is still really relevant

Beautifully written but quite anticlimatic, shallow and boring. There is a lot of potential in the story. The ending (aka last page) is extremely powerful. Overall I was rather disappointed since I had high expectations but am impressed by the talent the author has with words.
