I love cheesy romance stories and all things royal, but this one was a bit over the top for even me. I almost stopped reading it, which is saying something because it's just a novella. That's ultimately why I finished it, since it wasn't *that* much of an investment. I just feel like so much of the story was over the top. Their "insta love" wasn't very believable, but neither was most of the rest of the story. It felt like a book for a very young adult, minus the parts that briefly mentioned anything sexual. Maybe it's just me, but I didn't love this one. I'm still going to read the 2nd novella in the series, though. Maybe it will rate differently.
